Foundation Breeders Ring - come see what Legends are made of...
The Foundation Breeders Ring is a free service created to link together sites promoting the foundation-bred Quarter Horse. We invite you to visit these Foundation Quarter Horse Breeders and pay tribute to their efforts to preserve the bloodlines of the some of the greatest horses that ever lived.

Sound bone, sound minds, athletic ability and old-fashioned Quarter Horse good looks are as fashionable today as they were more than fifty years ago. The Foundation Quarter Horses have become some of the most popular in the equine community, and certainly on the internet. Quarter Horses registered with either of the Foundation Quarter Horse registries are sought after not just in the US, but around the world, and have been consistently high-sellers at horse sales everywhere.

We hope you enjoy visiting these sites to admire the horses and the people who breed them.

Okay- sounds good- so now what do I do?

After you sign up with the form below you will be automatically emailed your own site ID number. You will need to place this same site ID number into a particular HTML code, and place the Foundation Breeders Ring identifying logo on your web page in order to become a functioning site in the ring. Each page is linked together by this code, so it is essential that you place it on your page(s).

The HTML code you need may be "cut and pasted" into the HTML code of your existing page. If you do not know how to do this, there are basic instructions given where this code is posted. There is also a FAQ & Help Page located at:

The Graphics You Need

Please copy the graphic below and save it on your own hard drive. Do not link to the graphic on this page. You will need to upload this to your own server and place it in the same directory as your other graphics. Please save it under the same name as shown.

fbrlogo.gif
"fbrlogo.gif"

If you change the location of this image to a file other than your page, you will need to reference that directory in your code i.e.: change where it says:

<CENTER><TABLE CELLSPACING=6 CELLPADDING=0 BORDER=0><TR ALIGN=CENTER BGCOLOR="#9F9F9F"><TD><IMG SRC="fbrlogo.gif" BORDER=2 HEIGHT=64 WIDTH=202></TD></TR>

to:

for your graphic to display properly. You would reference which ever directory your images are stored in.

Problems?

If you are having problems inserting your code and graphics please refer to:

http://www.equinewebdesign.com/resources.htm

Periodically the web ring server may be down, as with any internet service. When this happens the web ring ceases to function. This is beyond the control of the Ringmasters. Please bear with us!

If you encounter problems attempting to input your information to join the ring please email the Ringmaster. Occasionally the web ring program gives erroneous error messages or refuses information when individuals are signing up for the ring. Don't take it personally- it's a temporary glitch. Usually, if you try again at a later time it will work just fine. For no reason whatsoever. (Darn computers, anyway...)
