Excellent mare with lots of muscle and class. Her dam, Carvers Sonora Bar, is a direct granddaughter of World Champion Running Horse, Tonto Bars Gill, and she is a full sister to NFR barrel racing mare, Sonora Bar. Sonora Bar qualified twice for the NFR in barrel racing ridden by Kay Van Voorhees. She also won the SDRA year-end title and took Renee Kost to the College Nation Finals. Frenchmans Sonora is bred much like SX Frenchmans Peach, the Shearer's great futurity and derby mare; both are by Frenchmans Guy and their dams are sired by full brothers.
